Hermit Crab in a bottle
Arty stuff that I have been involved with: Eric Carle’s House for Hermit Crab was the inspiration. They were made from polymer clay. I call it ‘Story in a Bottle’.
It was my sister’s 26th birthday on the 1st of January.
We had a mini BBQ in honour of her 
Now more baking. I made some Magnolia Vanilla Cupcakes. They were very simple to make and delicious to eat.

More baking again: this time, caramel cream sponge cake. The cream was a success though I can’t say the same for the sponge cake.

That frame has finally been given the finishing touches,the antique look. The next step is to get a great picture or art to be framed up. (Yippee!!!)

Lunar new year ornaments, my mom went shopping one day and bought these ! I noticed that she likes all the ‘lucky’ fishes!
Bought this in vancouver Ikea in 2004, brought it back here and had been in this state …
… till now. Painted it with acrylics and it looks brand new.

Mom says lets go back home..Lesgo…Yay! Hmm….I wonder how our new family is coping..I gotta check on them.
Well, here is our eldest family member..I think she is quite ancient, 7 years old.
Next, we have our newest addition , little hammy….looks like I woke it ‘Oops’

Lastly, another new friend, birdie… Though I m not sure why birdie is a bit nervous around me.

Sleepy Saturday
I just heard that my parents are coming back from their holiday tomorrow. ^_^ am so glad!!!
My sis and I had been taking turns minding our little doggie, since mom is not around the house. I had no idea how much stress that has given me, but it has been a stressful 10 days without mom! I miss her, and I hope she will have a safe flight back.
It has been such a busy 10 days, with things happening at work and getting worried about little doggie home, with just my arowana and guinea pig for company.
I hope she likes the new toy I got her to keep her happy!!
It was Teacher’s Day here on the 1st of September, I think, I have gained a bit of weight due to all those cookies, chocolates and sweets I received from the kids.

Now, I have not done any felt work for a while, but I did attempt to make my own earring and this is easy except you lose certain amount of your fingernails *argh*
It’s also time consuming, but I have no intentions of selling them online.
