Friday is KIC, and I m hopping it will be postponed again!!!
Anyways, so much for work stuff. X_X
Since I got the mobile phone from Ayya, I have been having fun taking pictures of everything and anything!
This set happened with no intentions. I therefore name it ‘ The Red, Yellow and Blue’ set.
or shall I name it ‘ The Primary Colours ‘ set…
I absolutely love these buttons/pins that I bought from etsy. Now they reside on my pencil case.
James and The Giant Peach, my very first Roald Dahl book which led me to his other books as a kid. If it was not for him, I probably wouldn’t be going to the library and discovering other authors. Therefore, I just had to have this bookmark!!!
I would love to be invited to this celebration and moominland.^_^
* Try to go to photo shop to develop kic pictures
* Mount documentation of kids on black construction paper
* Type out documentation of Kyla and Amy
* Type out children name tags
* To lessen stress, do some sewing >_< !!!
Today I had taken a day off from work to celebrate Vara Lakshmi Pooja at home. She is a goddess who gives wealth and also happiness in life. For those who wish to improve their marriage lives or anyone really, today is the day to celebrate and pray to her.
: : Vara Lakshmi temporary residence on top of a coconut, coconut has a religious significance in my culture/religion : :
To welcome her into our residence and humble home, we decorate our doorway with kolam.
Kolam is drawn using rice flour mixed in water.
: : Its my very own design!! : :
She is also encouraged to stay and keep giving us happiness through out the year, so to entice her even more we light ghee lamps ( also has some religious values to it ) .
An annual event that happens during the National Day week. I was too tired to watch the fireworks on friday, which was by Team Spain. So while reading the newspaper on saturday morning and looking at all those firework pictures I promised myself to go out and watch the firework by Team China.
So later in the evening I was at Marina Bay watching the fireworks with hundreds of people crowding around the Esplanade.
And I decided to take a video on the fireworks as well. So here it is!!!
The white object at the foreground is Singapore’s symbol, The Merlion.
