Oooooo….I have not written for a few days…blah that..anyways the dream led me to borrow this movie called ” an inconvenient truth .”
It was good, very good. It is the truth afterall. If nothing is done about global warming…many island countries plus a few states are gonna be covered in sea water (inclusive of where I am currently residing). Not a happy thought indeed. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. What can one person do to make a difference when the rest are indifferent or simply thinking like what I am thinking.
Visit www.climatecrisis.net for anyone who cares or better still, go watch the movie!
No, it had nothing to do with global warming. It just a dream I keep having. I probably could write a story on it.
It begins with me being in a office building…those high rise sky scrapers found here. People looking out of the window and watching this huge tsunami wave, about the height of a 20 storey building, waiting to crash down to the ground.
People panicking , lotsa dying and so on. It was like watching “Deep Impact” and what’s that other movie..ummm, ” The day after tomorrow” .
Next scene , I find myself in an outdoor plaza…midway in the building ..watching the sea level rising.
So, I met my friend yesterday and everything went well. We had dinner and later went shopping together. It was like back in the old days where we shop like crazy, except this time I had to watch what I was gonna buy.
But I did buy some stuff, like this t-shirt
And this twine…for some art project which I can’t remember .. sigh …
Nostalgic reasons this enamel plate…once common around here.
Just in…my friend called up and said she can’t make it for pyjamas party…awww Maybe I could work on my sister to come and watch the movie.
Anyways , my bro has been giving me pointers on how to capture a good shot with the cameras and I have been practicing.

Today I will be meeting my best friend after many months. It feels odd or whatever that we haven’t met for so long…both of us were just busy or our appointments kept getting postponed.
So much has happened to both of us that I feel anxious on how the two of us are gonna react.
She called me in the afternoon to make sure that the appointment is still on and there would be no cancellations on both side. So, you can see…maybe I’m worrying too much (bah).
Check this out, its looks like a mini esplanade or durian half ….from wikipedia
Yesterday I managed to lose my way trying to find a job agency in the weirdest area over here, well I can’t really say weird but, its hardly a place to have a job agency. My sister decided to accompany me and I was definetly feeling stressed.
I like to think myself as someone who doesn’t easily lose her sense of direction. But I did…so I m not gonna even mention the above anymore.
My sister was fuming, and I had to pacify her quickly. I suggested that we go check out the video store where we could get those ” hard to find videos ” . That seemed to work…till I boarded the bus going in the opposite direction of our destination. Everything looked unfamiliar and no one else was in the bus except for the two of us. Clearly it wasn’t my day at all !!!
“Excuse me? Ummm..is this the right bus to Farrer Road?”
The driver looks at me with a smile, “No,” he chuckles. “You have taken the wrong direction”.
“OH! I’m dead “. I turn and look at my sister, trying not to think about how she will react to this *Gulp*
I will not pursue on what happened between my sister and me. I can only say that it left me feeling pretty lousy about myself. We alighted the bus, walked to the correct bus stop and waited.
Opposite the street, there was this quaint looking buddhist temple, which seemed to have a calming effect on the two of us. I decided that it needs to be added to my picture collection.
So, we got to the video store and the title was not available. I ran out of lifelines at that very moment .
Finally I offered to buy her dinner and that worked. I knew that the botanic gardens was just right at the corner of this shopping centre, so I begged her to follow me for half an hour.
I think it improved her mood for the better, and I got to take some photos .
Yesterday bro went to get a new oven, since the other oven gave up on us and that was just within two years. Hopefully…this will last more then two years (fingers crossed).
So we decided to test it.
He made tuna and cheese bread. Yummo
Later in the evening we plan to have a BBQ . Its been years and we are finally having a BBQ. I can’t wait for all the delicious food….
