YUM + Paint job + Lost and found !!!

Bro did some cooking..well, he cooked the tofu and chye, and I made the tomato rice.

I have been trying to get inspired to draw something new, and that has not happened. What did I do? I got my old draft piece and traced it again, took me a good one hour just to trace and re-trace the fairy.

Now… I just gotta figure the colour scheme for this piece.

Yesterday I was looking for inspiration around the house, and I found this two items. I was so happy to find them for I thought they were lost.

So, Mom is in the kitchen…

…trying to cook something new.

I was going around the house from one window to the next, looking at the view. Watching and contemplating about my pathetic life. Truly pathetic. I stopped thinking about it and started to listen to the sounds of my surroundings.

Firstly, I heard the pattering of the rain as it drizzled on. I heard the occassional motorized vehicles brooming on the road below.All that became a distant noise as I recoginzed the oriole calling its fellows.The gangster mynahs were being as rude as possible, chasing the orioles around the tree branches. Sparrows started twittering here and there, fluttering from branch to branch, if they were having some kinda adventure. Tiny song birds that look like humming birds made their tweet tweet sounds as they whiz by the flowers in the trees, looking for nectar.

I smell garlic being fried in the kitchen. Mmmmm…makes me hungry. I wonder what is cooking?

Yesterday, when I was bored…

I sat and watched the rain fall.

After a while, I decided to take pictures of Nandhini in her favorite t-shirts n dress.

So having done some art stuff, I decided to tag along with my sister to the library. I ended up not borrowing any books. Sigh. Instead, found myself buying some stuffs. Sushi,chinese pastry,japanese gummi sweets and some new teeny tiny toys.

What am I doing now?

Hmmm…its been 24 days since I left my job.Its odd to have so much time in your hands when you have no job.So I m looking at this as an oppurtunity to get back to my hobbies. YAY! I managed to catch up on my reading.Made some teeny tiny stuffs or figurines with this new clay called “Jumping Clay”. Its supposed to be better then the usual white clay.My verdict, I still prefer my white clay.

So today I sat down in my arty corner, which is usually some corner available in the house,made myself cozy and got to work.I have to say this jumping clay is just not working…argh. I m just waiting for it to dry so that I can paint them and put them somewhere for display.

I’ll put up the picture of the finished product tomorrow. Hopefully.

Little things do matter…well to me it does.

Sometimes I happen to have some time to look at people’s blog, the photos interest me the most. It shows a bit about who they are and what type of people they can be. When I was younger, I used to wish that I was someone else, I didn’t really think my life was worth very much. But as I grew up and got to see more of the world and the people in it, I came to a conclusion that everyone matters no matter who and what they are. No one is less special or important. We are all equal.I’m happy to be me. Here I have posted photos of my stuffs around me, which makes me who I am.
